The International Conference on Genetics and Precision Medicine in Cardiology is held for the first time in Athens, at the Acropolis Museum, from 4 – 6 June, 2026, bringing together clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders to explore how precision cardiology can move from scientific advancement to system-wide implementation, aligned with European priorities for health data, innovation, and resilience.

The Protonotarios Workshop on Treatable Inherited CV Diseases will be held as a pre-conference event, on June 4th, from 16:00 to 20:00 hrs. at Onassis Hospital, with Perry Elliott & Juan Kaski.

The Conference is organized by Onassis Hospital, in collaboration with the Greek Network on Precision Medicine in Cardiology and the International Cardiomyopathy Network (ICoN).

Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of mortality in Europe, demanding a shift toward more effective, sustainable, and equitable models of care. Clinical Genetics and Precision Medicine are redefining this landscape, enabling earlier diagnosis, more accurate risk stratification, and targeted interventions tailored to the individual patient. At the same time, they raise critical questions for health systems: how to integrate innovation into clinical pathways, ensure interoperability of data, build workforce capacity, and guarantee equitable access across populations.

At the intersection of science, policy, and society, this conference aims to ensure that innovation translates into equitable health outcomes.
