Asymptomatic Carotid Surgery Trial (ACST-2)
Carotid endarterectomy
vs
carotid stenting
We would like to invite you to join the ACST-2 Trial.
This randomised trial compares carotid endarterectomy with carotid artery stenting.
Patients with asymptomatic carotid stenosis should be considered for randomisation.
We plan to recruit 5000+ patients and would like to work with multi-disciplinary
teams including stroke physicians, neurologists, vascular surgeons and stenting interventionalists.
